you can trust
supplying high quality fuels for 30+ years
For 30 years, North Atlantic’s extensive network of gas stations, Orangestore convenience stores, and high quality fuel products has kept Newfoundland and Labrador on the go. This, along with our marine bunkering, commercial sales, and wholesale distribution channels, ensures our positive energy reaches markets near and far.
serving you better wherever you travel
Established in 2023, North Sun Energy rose as the result of a dynamic partnership between two gas and convenience industry stars – North Atlantic and Petro-Canada. North Sun Energy now operates 109 (including 3 card-lock sites) sites across Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and PEI. That’s positive news for customers, with the availability of expanded Yay!™ and Petro-Points™ rewards programs, and the presence of our celebrated Orangestore convenience store brand at 26 locations and growing – including the launch of Orangestore in Nova Scotia in 2024!
positive change needs to happen now
Responsible, measured, steady change. We are working hard to build on our knowledge, infrastructure, and global strategic position to show the world the way forward into the green energy era — while always putting plenty of positive energy into serving the needs of the here and now.
green energy hub
Putting our energy into a cleaner, greener future.
Committed to creating a cleaner, greener future for everyone, we’re developing the North Atlantic Green Energy Hub – a ground-breaking model for green energy transition. Existing infrastructure and access to exceptional Newfoundland and Labrador wind resources means the Hub will produce low-cost green hydrogen, green ammonia, and LOHCs for distribution locally and abroad. It will also inspire major innovation in renewable energy production.
