North Atlantic is selling its propane business as part of its broader strategic realignment.

Most of the propane business and assets will be acquired by Harvey’s Oil and Eastern Propane. Harvey’s Oil will assume responsibility in Eastern and Central Newfoundland, while Eastern Propane will acquire operations in Western Newfoundland. Both companies are committed to a seamless transition for customers and employees.

Despite best efforts, operations on the Burin Peninsula will be discontinued effective November 1, 2025. North Atlantic is advising these customers to make alternate arrangements. North Atlantic will facilitate the transfer of tanks to new providers where possible or arrange pickup if preferred. 

All customers may place final propane orders with North Atlantic until October 27 for delivery by October 31.
