In The Community

Why we give.

At North Atlantic, we’re committed to community programs in areas where we know we can make a difference. Our employees wholeheartedly believe in giving back. As volunteers, they play a huge part in each of our fundraising efforts, including the Easter Seals Paper Egg Campaign.

We strive to find ways to help wherever we can, including engaging our customers. Whenever you pump up your tires at one our conveniently-located Orangestore air-filling stations, we donate your loonie to Special Olympics NL.

One of our best on-going fundraisers is our Big Bucks 50/50 Draw in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern NL. Customers can enter the weekly draw at select North Atlantic and Orangestore retail locations. The weekly proceeds support youth programs in eastern Newfoundland.

With high employee and customer involvement at all levels, we’ve been able to contribute to non-profit organizations and community programs including safe grads, youth athletic programs, elementary and high school fundraisers, animal welfare efforts, local churches and community groups.

Our community involvement

Each year we receive hundreds of donations and sponsorship requests from groups, communities and organizations all across Newfoundland and Labrador. Our community giving philosophy is focused on youth, learning and health because investing in future generations is a return that can’t be measured.
